As it happened
PSG manager Luis Enrique made just one change to his side that lost 1-0 to Dortmund in the UCL semi-final, eliminating them from the tournament.
Toulouse manager Carles Martinez on the other hand made four changes to his team that lost 2-1 to Montpellier last weekend.
The game started with the home side piling pressure on Toulouse which paid off in the eighth minute of the game.
Kylian Mbappe's incredible solo effort culminated in a goal from inside the penalty area. He makes it 1:0 by perfectly placing the ball in the lower left corner.
It did not take long before the away side responded with an equaliser in the 13th minute, just five minutes after PSG took the lead.
Thijs Dallinga, who is unmarked, received a pass from Moussa Diarra inside the box and buried the ball in the left side of the net.
Both teams failed to utilise their chances to take the lead in the first half as the referee blew the whistle for half-time.
The second half started and Toulouse brought in their A-game with a change of approach and attacking instinct which paid off.
Yann Gboho made a fantastic effort to find the right side of the net in the 69th minute after Gabriel Suazo slipped the ball to him on the outskirts of the area.
The away side did not relent and added the third goal to prevent a comeback by PSG in stoppage time.
Frank Magri received the ball inside the box, reacted quickly and without any problems stabbed the ball in the middle of the goal to seal the win.
Immediately after the restart, the referee blew the whistle for full-time, leaving the league winners with a defeat.
