During Messi's presentation as a Major League Soccer player, he gave an emotional message to the Inter Miami supporters, thanking David Beckham for bringing him to the team.
Once Messi was introduced to the crowd in Fort Lauderdale, fans lined up at the stadium's exit from the parking lot in an effort to get a glimpse of him.
The World Cup winner waved to the crowd as he left the stadium with many of his fans chasing after his car.
