Liverpool made light work of Aston Villa at Anfield, winning 3-0 to continue their unbeaten start to the season.
Liverpool made what was a difficult task on paper look very easy with a routine 3-0 win over Aston Villa.
How it happened
Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp was celebrating his 300th PL game in charge, and one of his latest signings Dominik Szoboszlai, opened the scoring after a blistering start.
The visitors were powerless to prevent Klopp's men from doubling the lead in the 22nd minute after Mohamed Salah released Darwin Núñez, with the striker’s effort rebounding off the post and back in off an unfortunate Matty Cash
Salah made sure victory was secured 10 minutes into the second half, tapping in from Núñez’s front post header to mark the 11th straight game at Anfield in which he has scored or assisted - a Liverpool record.
