Arsenal has concluded its tour of the United States with one win, one loss and one draw.

Liverpool concluded their US tour with a 2-1 win over Arsenal in Philadelphia, capping off an impressive pre-season campaign.

The match showcased some sharp attacking play from both sides but ultimately saw the Reds come out on top.

Mohamed Salah opened the scoring for Liverpool just 13 minutes into the game. The goal came after a long pass from goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher found Diogo Jota, who then set up Harvey Elliott.

Elliott’s precise delivery allowed Salah to slot the ball past Arsenal's goalkeeper and into the net.

Liverpool's dominance continued, with Jota coming close to doubling the lead. His effort hit the post, and another attempt went over the bar.

The second goal did eventually arrive when Fabio Carvalho scored after another assist from Elliott.

Elliott’s deft chip over the Arsenal defence found Carvalho, who made no mistake with his finish.

Arsenal responded just before halftime, with Kai Havertz pulling one back. A well-timed pass from Martin Ødegaard found Havertz, who tapped in to reduce the deficit.

Despite this late goal, Arsenal were unable to build on the momentum in the second half.

Liverpool introduced several youngsters, who managed to hold their own against an Arsenal side that dominated possession.

The Gunners had their chances, with Fabio Vieira forcing a good save from Kelleher and Gabriel Jesus heading over from a corner, but they failed to convert any of their opportunities into goals.

The defeat means Arsenal finishes their US tour with a record of one win, one draw, and one loss, having previously defeated Manchester United and drawn with Bournemouth.
