Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen has cashed out big time after Liverpool snapped up their youngster Calvin Ramsay.
Liverpool have confirmed the capture of Aberdeen starlet Calvin Ramsey on a long term contract.
The Reds made this known on Sunday via a statement on their official social media account.
"We are delighted to announce the signing of (Calvin) Ramsay from Aberdeen," the club said in a post on Twitter.
Ramsay, 18, has put pen to paper to a five-year contract worth £4m, with an extra £2.5m in performance-related bonuses.
The right-back, who is expected to provide cover for star player, Trent Alexander-Arnold, will join up with his new teammates early next month for preseason.
The transfer of the youngster, who enjoyed an outstanding breakthrough season at the Dons last season, is still subject to international clearance .
