Liverpool are close to signing Brighton star Alexis Mac Allister after agreeing on a fee which was included in his contract.
The World Cup winner has been a phenomenal figure in De Zerbi’s side helping them qualify for European football next season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Reds and Brighton have reached an agreement in principle over a sum that would pay for the contract clause allowing him to depart which is reported to be less than £60 million.
The Argentine is set to sign for Liverpool after all parties agreed on a fee and personal terms and are hopeful of getting the deal completed this week.
