Spanish midfielder Stefan Bajcetic has signed a new deal with Liverpool which will keep him at the club till 2027
Liverpool have extended the contract of 18-year-old midfield Stefan Bajcetic till 2027 after the young Spaniard put pen to paper, committing his future to the club.
Bajcetic only recently just broke into the Liverpool first team but reports suggest that negotiation for a new and improved contract have been ongoing since the summer between the parties.
An agreement has now been reached as Liverpool announced the new contract for Bajcetic through their official website, conforming that the player has signed for the next four-and-half years.

Bajcetic stepped up to the mark with impressive performances against Wolves and Chelsea in the FA Cup and Premier League respectively which led to him being rewarded with a new contract.

The contract also indicates that Jurgen Klopp views Bajcetic as a capable first-team player for the Reds this season especially as he has already impressed.
The teenager was snapped up from Celta Vigo in 2020 which is a testament to Liverpool's recruitment strategy of signing players between the ages of 15 and 18 by head of academy recruitment, Matt Newberry.

The young man of the moment Bajcetic had this to say about his new contract, "It's crazy!"
“A year ago I was playing U18s football and now I've started some games, made my debut and even scored a goal – that was something I never expected to happen this year," Bajcetic continued.
“It's amazing to see how fast it went. But I keep working hard and hopefully more things to come,” the young Spaniard concluded.
As Liverpool continues to deal with injuries in midfield, Stefan Bajcetic has been a revelation and can be expected to feature in many more games to come this season.
