Luis Diaz continued his goalscoring form with a brace as Liverpool defeated Bournemouth 3-0 at Anfield.
Arne Slot's men needed a response after losing to Nottingham Forest in shocking fashion last weekend.
Their midweek win over Milan in San Siro was impressive but they needed to bounce back in the league, and they did just that, against an underwhelming Bournemouth side.
Liverpool bounce back in style
Liverpool were determined to return to winning ways in front of home support and started the game on the front foot, with Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez looking particularly dangerous.
Bournemouth thought they broke the deadlock against the run of play but Antoine Semenyo's disallowed goal after just four minutes would be as good as it would get for Iraiola's team.

Both Diaz and Salah had early chances to break the deadlock but it was the Colombia international who displayed his clinical finishing and found the back of the net twice in 120 seconds to turn the game on its head.
Nunez would add a third 11 minutes later - effectively ending the match as a contest.
The win moves Liverpool to the top of the Premier League, albeit temporarily as Manchester City and Arsenal clash at the Etihad in Sunday's big game.
