Reports surfaced of a perceived disrespectful incident involving Garnacho and manager Ruben Amorim during a Europa League match against Viktoria Plzen.

While Garnacho's representatives attributed the incident to a misunderstanding and United sources denied any rift, his subsequent spell on the bench has fueled speculation about his place in Amorim's system.

Ahead of their match against Liverpool, Garnacho's X account disappeared, displaying an empty profile and the message "This account doesn't exist" fueling suggestions that the Argentine might have deactivated his account.

The reason for this deactivation remains unknown as this isn't the first time Garnacho's social media activity has caused controversy.

Garnacho has contributed 12 G/A in 20 matches this season for Man United.

Last April, he liked a post criticising Erik ten Hag's handling of him after being substituted at half-time against Bournemouth.

Though he quickly unliked the post, and the matter was handled internally, it highlighted a pattern of social media-related issues.
