Logarusic is adamant his charges must take it “game by game”, describing the league race as a “marathon and not a sprint”.
Kenya Police FC head coach Zdravko Logarusic has revealed that his deep squad could be the edge needed in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) title race this season.
Police have corrected their rather shaky start to the season and now find themselves seven points behind leaders Gor Mahia after comfortably dispatching Ulinzi Stars, Nzoia Sugar, and Murang’a Seal in their last three games.
However, Logarusic is adamant his charges must take it “game by game”, describing the title race as a “marathon and not a sprint”.

Police FC boss Zdravko Logarusic details significance of Murang’a Seal to Kenyan football
The former AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia boss believes the potential of Kenyan footballers from the lower divisions is high, namechecking the Murang’a Seal squad as an example.
“The point is, we have to go game by game, this is how we are going to take it,” Logarusic said.
“Those boys are going to play their game, we are going to play our game. It is not a sprint, it is a marathon.
“Twenty more games, it is a long, long journey. I am happy I have some good players from the bench because when I brought some players from the bench, they lifted up our game and that is maybe for our advantage.
