A Nigerian boy who sold a boot gifted by Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface to a Rwandan player for $100, has prompted a humorous reaction from the Bayer Leverkusen star.
Pulse Sports reported yesterday that a boy who attended Nigeria's 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda received Boniface's boots after the match.
The boy was gifted a pair of boots by the Leverkusen forward, but due to financial hardship and hunger, he sold them to a Rwandan player for $100.
The following post quickly went viral on social media, which caught the attention of Super Eagles star Boniface.

The Leverkusen forward continued his playful antics with another comment when the video was reshared by photojournalist Pooja.
“I for give am jersey ooooo, but this guy fit go sell am again. If I give am money, he fit use am buy jersey too.”
Boniface will be looking to make the starting 11 when the Super Eagles face Zimbabwe on Tuesday after failing to make an appearance in Nigeria’s 2-0 victory over Rwanda
