Guardiola has been at the Etihad for six years but is not tired of dominating teams in the Premier League and England.
Manchester City has confirmed that manager Pep Guardiola has committed his immediate future to the club.
Guardiola has put pen to paper on a new two-year contract that will see him stay at the Etihad until the summer of 2025.
The club announced the news on Wednesday through a statement on its official website and social media account.
"The Journey Continues," Manchester City posted on Twitter.
"We’re delighted to announce Pep (Guardiola) has signed a new two-year contract," the post added.
Guardiola delighted with his new deal
The 51-year-old has had a successful period with City since he arrived at the Etihad six years ago.
Despite winning four Premier League titles, as many EFL Cups and the FA Cup, the Spaniard wants more success and is delighted to have committed his future to the club.
"I am so pleased to be staying at Manchester City for another two years," Guardiola told the club's website.
"I can't say thank you enough to everyone at the club for trusting me. I am happy and comfortable here. I have everything I need to do my job as best as possible.
"I know the next chapter of this club will be amazing for the next decade. It happened over the last 10 years and will happen in the next 10 years because this club is so stable.
"From day one I felt something special being here. I cannot be in a better place.
