Chelsea is apparently causing Manchester United frustration in its discussions for Mason Mount by disclosing details of rejected offers to the public.

Manchester United have been on the radar of Mason Mount for the past few weeks and have attempted to sign the English midfielder.

Mason Mount rejected a new contract from Chelsea a few months ago and has not revisited his contract terms with the Blues.

The Red Devils have offered three different transfer bids to Chelsea for Mason Mount and none of those bids were accepted.

On Friday, the Red Devils made a third and final bid to purchase Mount, asking for £55 million, but the Blues rejected it.

Man United have claimed that they are disappointed with Chelsea for discussing their rejected transfer bid for Mount with the media.

Man United not pleased with Chelsea

According to the Manchester Evening News, United are unhappy with Chelsea because of leaked information to the press regarding Mount’s bid.

Daily Mail also reported that John Murtough, the director of football for United, is reportedly upset that the proposals from United were passed along via a journalist in London.

The Red Devils have been discredited by the media revelation of this information since they now think Chelsea is "overvaluing" Mount, according to the Red Devils.

According to the reports, United disagrees with Chelsea's valuation of him because he wants to leave and his contract expires the next year.

Man United to continue negotiation for Mount

Manchester United are looking to go in for a new bid for Mason Mount after their third bid was rejected.

Chelsea has offered a face-to-face meeting to discuss the trade, so Erik ten Hag's side is anticipated to press the issue further.

The Blues are persistently refusing to accept any deal which is not a £58 million + £7 million bid. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United will agree to this valuation.

As the Blues demand £65 million for their young player, negotiations are anticipated to go on.
