Onana has been outstanding for Cameroon since the beginning of the AFCON qualifiers, conceding just one goal in five matches.

Cameroon and Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana continued his impressive form, keeping a clean sheet in their 0-0 draw against Namibia in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

The result was enough for Cameroon to secure qualification for the 2025 AFCON tournament in Morocco.

Onana, who has been in excellent form for both club and country, has now conceded only one goal in five qualifier matches.

Meanwhile, Equatorial Guinea and defending champions Ivory Coast have also secured their places in the next AFCON.

Equatorial Guinea benefited from Togo's 1-0 defeat to Liberia, while Ivory Coast's draw against Chad was enough to guarantee their qualification.

Other teams that have already qualified for the 2025 AFCON include Algeria, Angola, Burkina Faso, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, and Senegal.

However, Nigeria's Super Eagles will be looking forward to sealing their qualification when they play against the Benin Republic at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.

Nigeria leads its group with 10 points from four matches and needs just one more point from the remaining two to qualify for the 2025 African Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Stars like the current African Player of the Year, Victor Osimhen, Atlanta star man Ademola Lookman and 2024 AFCON Most Valuable Player, William Troost-Ekong will be leading the charge against Benin.
