Mason Mount’s injury
Ten Hag has revealed that Mason Mount will miss some games for Manchester United due to a new injury.
According to Fabrizio on X, Ten Hag said, “During the last game I picked up a minor muscle issue. I’ll be out for a few games.”
“I worked hard to get my fitness back to where it needs to be, I felt sharp and ready. I wanted you to hear it from me how frustrated I am.”
Mount’s recent injury has left the Man United manager frustrated, having hoped for a fit squad for their game against Liverpool.
The Red Devils will face a major test against Liverpool on Sunday and will be without Mount for the clash.
Meanwhile, United are close to completing a deal for PSG star Manuel Ugarte, but he won’t be available for the clash against the Reds.
Ten Hag will need to look for a better solution to his midfield after the recent injury of Mount and the departure of Scott McTominay, who was a useful backup to the team.
