Manchester United kit manufacturer Adidas have not held discussions with the club regarding a return for Mason Greenwood.
This is according to the Manchester Evening News, who have disputed reports from elsewhere claiming that it had approved a return for the 21-year old who was suspended by Manchester United in 2022 after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.

Greenwood was charged with of attempted rape, engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour and assault against him, before the alleged victim withdrew all charges against him on February 2. He has always denied the allegations.
A statement released by Adidas said: “After inaccurate and speculative reporting within the media it’s important for us to clarify that Adidas has had no discussions with Manchester United regarding any member of their playing squad.We play no role in any decisions made regarding any member of the team or staff at the club."

When asked for an update on Greenwood during United’s tour of the US, Erik ten Hag said he had given his thoughts to the board about the situation.
