Manchester United reportedly rebuffed an offer from Real Betis for Antony.
Manchester United have reportedly rejected an offer from Real Betis to extend Antony’s loan, as they are looking to sell the Brazilian winger permanently this summer.
The 25-year-old joined the club as a €100 million marquee signing in the summer of 2022. After two-and-a-half seasons of struggling to find his footing, he was shipped off on loan to Andalusia.

Manchester United reject Betis offer
Antony has settled nicely in Spain; integral to Real Betis' seven-game unbeaten run, which only recently ended, in which they beat second-placed Real Madrid and drew against leaders Barcelona.
The Heliopolitans are satisfied with his contribution and have publicly expressed desire to keep the former Ajax man beyond this season.

However, given their finances, they are currently incapable of matching Manchester United's €40 million ask. Hence, they reportedly proposed another loan deal for the 2025/26 season, which was immediately rebuffed by the Red Devils, according to the Mirror.
Per the report, Betis proposed a loan deal, with an option to buy, should they manage to qualify for the Champions League this season. They currently sit 6th in the league, three points and a game more than Villarreal in 5th. They hope to eventually usurp the Yellow Submarines with seven games to go, as LALIGA is set to get an extra UCL slot.
