Alejandro Garnacho runs the danger of offending Erik Ten Hag after "deleting an Instagram like" on a contentious post regarding the manager.

Recently, Cristiano Ronaldo made a comment on Instagram regarding Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag.

Garnacho then went to Ronaldo’s post to like his comment, which has led fans to believe that he might have an issue with the manager.

This season, the winger has only started one Premier League game and has twice been brought in as a late substitution.

According to Daily Mail, Garnacho liked a post with lines from Cristiano Ronaldo expressing his anger with Ten Hag's remarks on ambition at Old Trafford, but he has now un-liked it.

The Instagram post read, “Man United coach can NOT say they can’t compete to win the Premier League and the Champions League every year.

“This is Man United! You have to be there, to mentally say… listen, maybe we don’t have that potential, but I cannot say that. We’re going to try. You have to try.

“This is why Man United need to rebuild”, (Ronaldo) tells Five. 'If Ten Hag listens to Ruud van Nistelrooy… maybe he can help.

“He knows the club and the club should listen to the guys who were there, as this is really important.”

When asked about his former boss and what he can contribute to Old Trafford, Ronaldo did not hold back.

Garnacho's like of the post may be a subliminal indication that he agrees with his childhood hero.

Given that he had already apologised to Ten Hag for going too far on the internet, the 20-year-old may realise that publicly endorsing the message was a mistake of judgement.

The Argentine will be hoping to start when the Manchester United team visits St. Mary's this coming weekend.
