Although they are embroiled in a legal battle over financial malfeasance, Manchester City do not have immediate PSR concerns, or rather, are not set risk of breaching the regulations as of the time of writing, unlike some of their rivals.
The Cityzens are healthy financially, as they made over £100 million in player sales this summer, the majority of which have come through transferring Julian Alvarez, Joao Cancelo and Taylor Harwood Belis to Atletico Madrid, Al Hilal and Southampton, respectively.
The Cityzens are yet to reinvest that money, and according to a report from The Sun, they are prepared to do that in the winter transfer window and will arm Guardiola to splash big in January. Germany's advanced midfield duo of Florian Writz and Jamaal Musiala have been identified as possible options.
