The Norwegian striker has been unstoppable since joining Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund, breaking records and dominating the Premier League. However, things could change if City are found guilty of financial rule breaches.
The club has been accused of multiple offences between 2009 and 2018, including giving incorrect details about player and manager contracts, misreporting financial information, and not fully cooperating with the Premier League’s investigation.
While waiting for the verdict, City have strongly denied any wrongdoing and remain confident of a positive outcome.
During this period, City have enjoyed huge success, especially under Pep Guardiola, who helped them win their first-ever Champions League after signing Haaland.
The Norwegian striker is widely seen as the best in the world, and many are discussing what his future could look like if City are punished.

Haaland reveals state of mind

Despite the uncertainty, Haaland committed to City by signing a massive nine-and-a-half-year contract extension in January, reportedly earning around £1 million per week. Many were surprised by this decision given the ongoing case, but Haaland insists he has no concerns.
"I'm obviously not afraid of that if I sign a 9.5-year contract," he told Fotball Norge.
Still, some believe that if City face severe punishment, Haaland would have no trouble finding a new club. Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid have long been interested in him, and several Premier League clubs could also afford such a superstar.
While the Cityzens hope for the best in court, they are also in danger of missing out on Champions League football for the first time under Pep Guardiola.
City are currently fifth, and have struggled to find consistency this season.
