Manchester United have reportedly rejected a bid from Napoli for midfielder Scott McTominay.
With the transfer deadline in less than a week, the 27-year-old has been constantly linked to a move away from Old Trafford this summer.
Napoli asked earlier this week about the possibility of loaning in the Scotland international, but United turned them down, reportedly only considering a permanent departure.
Conte is currently looking for a midfielder to shore up his midfield after losing his first game of the season.

Napoli bid rejected
Napoli are interested in signing McTominay, but they haven't been able to match United's asking price, according to a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano.
United is keeping their ground and demanding a price far over £25 million, despite reports that Antonio Conte's team has put forward a £21 million offer.
At the end of the current campaign, McTominay's contract with Old Trafford is scheduled to expire.
Fulham also expressed interest in McTominay as well, despite completing the signing of Sander Berge from Burnley earlier this week.
The Premier League team has made a bid for Scott McTominay, who is drawing strong attention from Galatasaray and Fenerbahce in Turkey.
A transfer move for the Scotland international is still on the cards as long as Man United’s offer can be met.
