Manchester United are set to agree a new deal with one of the club's most important players ahead of next season.
Luke Shaw has reportedly agreed a new four-year contract with Manchester United as a reward for his excellent performances under manager, Erik ten Hag.
The 27-year-old's current contract expires in the summer of 2024 and the club are determined to tie him down to a new deal.
Luke Shaw's fine form for Manchester United
Shaw has found his form again this season, performing at a high level and doing more than enough to regain his place from Tyrell Malacia, who arrived last summer in a bid to provide competition in the left-back position.
The England international has shown consistency in his performances under Ten Hag, starting the last 19 Premier League games for the Red Devils.
Shaw set for new contract
According to the Athletic, Shaw is now expected to sign a new deal to keep him at Old Trafford for another four seasons.
United triggered a one-year extension in Shaw's contract last December to ensure he would not leave the club for free in the summer and now he has committed his long-term future to the club.
Shaw has made 35 appearances in all competitions for Manchester United this term, scoring once and grabbing six assists.
