Mason Greenwood's future at Manchester United has reportedly been decided with the club set to announce the decision today
Premier League giants Manchester United are set to make a final decision on the future of embattled forward Mason Greenwood.
Greenwood still suspended by Manchester United
Greenwood remains suspended at Manchester United for more than 18 months after being arrested on suspicion of sexual and physical assault on his then-girlfriend, Harriet Robson.
The 21-year-old striker has already been let off the hook regarding the incident in question after a lack of evidence stopped HRM prosecutors from moving forward with the case after key witnesses to the case backed out of the trial.
He has also welcomed his first child with Robson, who is now his fiancee after the pair got engaged following the dropping of the case against Greenwood.
Manchester United set to announce Greenwood decision
Despite Greenwood being let off the hook, he has remained suspended at Manchester United, pending an internal investigation, which is set to come to an end.
There have been conflicting reports of Manchester United’s final choice concerning Greenwood, with some quarters suggesting that the forward will be integrated into the team, while others believe that backlash from Red Devils’ fans over reinstating the one-time England international will force the club to keep him out of the team.
Manchester United will reportedly reveal their final decision on the matter today, although a time has not been officially set for the announcement.
