The Ivory Coast international has committed his future to Manchester United, signing a contract extension.
Amad Diallo has signed a new deal that will keep him with the Red Devils until June 2030.
The 22-year-old winger has been pivotal for the Red Devils this season, contributing big moments and being one of the shining lights at the club in the current dark times.
“I have huge ambitions” - Amad
Speaking after signing the deal, Amad said, "I am really proud to have signed this new contract. I have had some incredible moments with this club already, but there is so much more to come.
“I have huge ambitions in the game, and I want to achieve history at Manchester United," he told the club's official website after signing the new deal.
Amad’s new contract comes on the back of six goals and three assists in the Premier League this season, the latest of which was a big goal at Anfield in the 2-2 draw with Liverpool.
Fabrizio Romano reported that there was growing interest given the length of his previous deal, but Amad only had one thing in mind, which was committing his future to Manchester United.
Future of the Red Devils
Manchester United’s Director of Football, Jason Wilcox, praised Amad’s growth and potential. "Everyone is delighted with Amad’s development; his quality on the ball, versatility, and determination make him a key part of the future of Manchester United," Wilcox said.
He added, "The best years of his career are ahead of him, and we all look forward to helping Amad reach his immense potential and achieve success at the club in the coming seasons.”
