Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has been told to drop one of his players for not being good enough.

Former Chelsea star Craig Burley has advised Enzo Maresca to drop underwhelming star Mykhailo Mudryk.

According to Burley, the Ukrainian winger is a 'waste of time' in the starting XI, and Maresca needs to give others a chance.

"Noni Madueke was on fire from the get-go, making a big statement with his performance," Burley said on ESPN.

"Nicolas Jackson also showed some promise. But let's be real, Mudryk just isn't cutting it as a starter. He's too hit-or-miss."

Burley thinks Pedro Neto is the way to go instead. "He came on and made an impact, and I think he'll be the one starting soon."

Meanwhile, Chelsea are still pushing to sign Napoli's Victor Osimhen ahead of deadline day.
