Matano has praised two Tusker players for their influential performances that have played a key role in helping their surge up the table.
Tusker FC head coach Robert Matano has praised both Erick Kapaito and Levin Odhiambo following their increased influence and improvement after both endured tricky starts to the season.
Kapaito had gone for weeks without finding the back of the net while Levin was not featuring regularly after returning from trials in Sweden.
However, both players have asserted their authority in each of Tusker’s last four league games, having won each.

Kapaito has now scored five goals, while Levin has created numerous goal-scoring chances playing as a winger, even though he is primarily a left-back.
Speaking to Pulse Sports, Matano heaped praise on both players and expressed particular gratitude to Kapaito for repaying his patience in him.
“Kapaito is someone I have been patient with because I know (his capabilities) physically,” Matano said.

Tusker started badly in the league but now find themselves in fifth place and nine points behind Gor Mahia.
“Personally I know what he is able to do. I know his capabilities and what he can do. He is able.
“Only time will tell. I know he came into the club with a little injury but now he is doing well and only time will tell.”
Matano has described Levin as an excellent utility asset that will be important for Tusker in the remaining games of the season.

Meanwhile, Matano has revealed that the club will try to strengthen in the January transfer window in order to equip his team with the tools needed to reclaim the title lost to Gor Mahia last season.
“That is normal and we must do it,” Matano said.
