Goodman is set to provide additional depth and competition in the Super Eagles' goalkeeping department which has been an area of need for Nigeria since the departure of legend Vincent Enyeama.

The national team currently has Stanley Nwabali, Maduka Okoye, and Olorunleke Ojo as their designated shot-stoppers, following the appointment of Finidi George as the new head coach.

His decision to represent Nigeria is a testament to the growing global appeal and reputation of our national team, and the NFF president, Gusau, was happy to welcome him.

This news is sure to excite Nigerian football fans, who will be eager to see Goodman in action for the Super Eagles as they embark on their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign.
