Messi to giveaway jersey
The 36-year-old took to Instagram to announce a jersey giveaway from his Official Messi Signed Merchandise collection in partnership with icon.com, a company exclusively in charge of auctioning Messi-related memorabilia.
He will be giving away signed Messi shirts from three of four teams he has represented in his senior career—Barcelona, Argentina and Inter Miami—conspicuously omitting Paris Saint-Germain after previously admitting to having a torrid time at the club.
“I’m giving away three shirts from my official Messi merchandise collection with my exclusive memorabilia partner, Icons.com,” Messi shared on Instagram.
“The prizes are as follows: a FIFA World Cup shirt, an FC Barcelona shirt and an Inter Miami CF shirt, all of which are official, signed and framed. To be in with a chance of winning one of the prizes, you need to follow @icons_memorabilia AND comment either #IconsARG, #IconsFCB OR #IconsMIA. Terms and conditions apply. Good luck!”
Recently, Messi auctioned six of the seven jerseys he wore on each match day at the FIFA 2023 World Cup in Qatar. The collection sold for a mouth-watering $7.8 million.
