Wealth accumulated by Michael Olunga has been wisely invested in community projects and personal assets.

Harambee Stars captain and Al-Duhail striker Michael Olunga is not only a celebrated footballer but also a savvy investor.

The renowned Kenyan striker, whose prowess on the pitch is as commanding as his academic credentials with a Bachelor's Degree in Geospatial Engineering from the Technical University of Kenya, has an estimated net worth of $4 million.

This wealth, accumulated from lucrative contracts especially notable during his tenure with Kashiwa Reysol in Japan, has been wisely channeled into various high-value properties.

Pulse Sports takes a closer look at some of the impressive assets in Olunga's portfolio.

1. MOFA Sports Academy

Established in 2022 in his home county of Homa Bay, Nyanza, the MOFA Sports Academy is a testament to Olunga's commitment to giving back to his community.

The academy not only trains young footballers between the ages of 10 and 18 but also manages MOFA FC, a team competing in the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) National Division One League.

This initiative mirrors Olunga's own football journey which began at Nairobi's Liberty Sports Academy.

2. Mansion in Homa Bay

Olunga's roots in Kasipul Kabondo are adorned with a magnificent mansion which is a symbol of his success and a retreat during his visits back home.

Awarded the Head of State Commendation by President William Ruto during the 2023 Jamhuri Day celebrations Olunga's residence stands as one of the most lavish properties under his name.

The mansion is frequently featured in his social media posts showcasing the blend of modern architecture with the tranquil rural landscape.

3. Collection of luxury cars

Olunga's taste for fine machinery is evident in his collection of high-end vehicles.

Among them is a Toyota Land Cruiser V8, valued at over KSh. 10 million, and a 2022 Porsche Panamera, starting at KSh. 10.8 million.

His garage also houses a Hummer H2 and a Mercedes Benz, with the Porsche Panamera and Hummer H2 valued at approximately KSh. 9.4 million and KSh. 13 million, respectively.

These vehicles not only signify his success but also his love for luxurious and high-performance automobiles.

4. Real estate investments

While details are sparse, it is known that Olunga has invested in various real estate projects beyond his personal properties.

These investments are likely spread across Kenya and possibly abroad, reflecting his strategic approach to building a stable financial future.

As he continues to score goals on the field his investments ensure he also wins in the game of life.
