The former Uganda Cranes midfielder has made it public knowledge that this barbarism made him quit in both roles despite coming over ten years apart.

Arguably, one of the best players of his generation, Sulaiman Mike Mutyaba, has come out to make astounding revelations about his stints at TP Mazembe and Buddu Ssaza as a player and coach, respectively.

A staunch Muslim, Mutyaba has stressed the vast damning escapades of witchcraft at TP Mazembe and Buddu.

The former Uganda Cranes midfielder has made it public knowledge that this barbarism made him quit in both roles despite coming over ten years apart.

He let the rabbit out of the basket amid his abrupt resignation from Buddu in his assistant coach role over the weekend.

“I decided to resign at Buddu since witchcraft was too much," he revealed in an interview on CBS radio.

"I am a Muslim, and I don’t associate with witchcraft, which is why I even left TP Mazembe," he added.

His stint at TP Mazembe was between 2013-2014, following his exploits at Sudan's El-Merrikh (2011-2013).

The Mazembe move was a big money deal, and it came at a time when the club was one of the most dominant footballing forces on the continent, with massive funding from owner Moise Katumbi Chapwe.

"So, it was better for me to resign and leave those who take witchcraft seriously run the team,” Mutyaba noted.

“At Buddu, they even used to tell us don’t sleep with women if we are to win a match," the outspoken coach added.

Mutyaba has, in the past, rarely shied from making his word known and has previously contested works and the running of football in the country by the Moses Magogo-led FUFA.

As a player, Mutyaba has previously played for Bunamwaya FC (currently Vipers SC) on three stints, KCCA FC and Express FC on two occasions.
