Even then, Karisa is still confident that his manned troops will be up to the task and will fight back, hoping to avenge last season's 1-0 loss at Lugogo.

Ahead of the highly anticipated encounter between giants and nemesis KCCA FC and Vipers SC, the latter's skipper Milton Karisa has warned that it'll be a complex contest.

While Vipers are yet to lose a single Uganda Premier League game this season, winning four and drawing twice, KCCA, on the other hand, have lost five and not won any of their fixtures.

However, Karisa expects a fighting KCCA, hungry for their maiden victory, as they lock horns at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, on Friday.

"I'm not going to lie when I say that it’s going to be a very difficult game; we know how hard it’s going to be since they will be looking for their first win," Karisa told the club media.

“You’ve got to face the best teams in the League early when the opportunity comes,” he added.

Even then, Karisa is still confident that his manned troops will be up to the task and will fight back, hoping to avenge last season's 1-0 loss at Lugogo.

“They wouldn’t want to play us at this moment according to the situation they are in but that’s what the fixture says."

“We’ve just got to look at ourselves and think how we’ve to improve more compared to the seasons we’ve played them recently," he noted.

"We lost 1-0 at their place last season, we can’t be doing stuff like that because we have won from there on many occasions. We’re a lot more resilient this season."

“We’re a lot more focused and dedicated. Who knows? We’ll see, but we’ll give them a good game, definitely," the hardworking winger summed.

Vipers currently sit third on the log with 14 points out of a possible 18, while KCCA rocks the bottom with just a single point.
