The Egyptian superstar has reached another milestone in the Premier League after finding the net against the Red Devils at Anfield.

Salah etched his name further into Premier League history, equalling Thierry Henry's record of 175 goals in the competition.

The Egyptian King's strike came in the 70th minute from the spot, moving him level with the Arsenal legend, though he reached this tally in 282 games compared to the 258 games it took the Frenchman.

Along with his 175 goals, Salah has also contributed 82 assists in the Premier League for the Reds.

The most goals scored in the competition’s history is 260, a record held by former England international Alan Shearer, a record that the Egyptian might not get the chance to match after announcing that he will be departing at the end of this season.

Salah is currently in the last year of his Liverpool contract, and there have been no concrete talks about a renewal, leading to the player concluding that his time with the club is done.

Liverpool fails to extend lead at the top

The Reds would be biting their fingers after settling for a 2-2 draw with Manchester United at Anfield.

Arne Slot’s men had the chance to go eight points clear of second-placed Arsenal, who had dropped points in a 1-1 draw away at Brighton a day before.

However, Liverpool still have a healthy lead of six points at the top while having a game in hand halfway into the season.
