The last set of games for the weekend has been scheduled today and we look forward to rounding up another game week.
The majority of league games were played on Saturday and Sunday which also came with minor upsets. Barcelona failed to secure a win away from home and move ten points clear of Real Madrid after losing to relegation-threatening side, Almeria.
Inter Milan also lost away from home to Bologna as they further lost their chances of catching up to Napoli in the Serie A title race while other top-of-the-table games came with no upset as Bayern Munich and PSG swept their opponents away.
The biggest news of the weekend is Manchester United winning a trophy after six years of trophy drought. They defeated Newcastle United in the final of the EFL Cup two goals to nil and have been crowned the champion of the 2023 EFL Cup tournament.
