Senegal, who are the African champions in the Senior, CHAN, Beach Soccer and Under-20, will aim to add the fifth title to their bulging list.

Senegal is on course to sweep the last remaining African title in their trophy cabinet after overcoming Burkina Faso to reach the final of the Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Algeria.

Abdou Aziz Fall had opened the scoresheet early in the 16th minute but Rachide Ouedragao’s late strike forced the match into post-match shootouts.

The Senegalese converted all their kicks but, on the other side, Souleymane Alio failed to calm his nerve, crashing the post with Burkina Faso’s last kick to hand their neighbours the ticket.

They’ll try their shot on Friday, 19th May, against Morocco in the final. The Moroccans eliminated Mali 6-5 after a goalless draw in normal time.
