Muhoroni Youth chairman Moses Adagala responds to fines and bans with a faithful social media post amidst ongoing controversies.

Embattled Muhoroni Youth FC Chairman Moses Adagala has taken to social media to voice his reliance on divine intervention following a series of penalties imposed on his team.

This reaction came promptly after Muhoroni was fined Ksh 300,000 by the FKF Premier League due to violent incidents that transpired during their recent match against KCB at the Muhoroni Stadium.

The controversial game, in which Muhoroni lost 0-2, not only drew attention to the unsettling display of violence but also resulted in the team being instructed to play their next five home games away from their infamous grounds, without the presence of their spirited fans.

Adding salt to the wound, Adagala himself has been prohibited from attending the club’s upcoming three matches as he allegedly failed to manage and control the crowd, leading to chaotic scenes on the ground.

This pivotal moment came about in the last minute of the game, with KCB in the lead, after a disagreement erupted on the touchline following a free-kick awarded to Muhoroni.

Before the ruling was disclosed to the public, Adagala shared a poignant message, accompanied by verses from Psalms 41:7-13.

“Each day and every time I thank God. My enemies can gather together and plan how to hurt me but I trust God in everything in my life. Impossible is nothing," the post read.

The chairman’s tenure over Muhoroni Youth FC, which he owns, has been anything but smooth, marked by numerous controversies and confrontations involving players and referees.

Despite his evident commitment and dedication to the club, Adagala’s leadership has seen a series of disputes and contentious moments that ultimately cast a shadow over both the image of Muhoroni Youth and Kenyan football at large.
