Erik Ten Hag has acknowledged that he feels pressured to prove himself once more and win another trophy in his third season at Manchester United.
Manchester United have started the new season poorly, having won just three of their first eight games in the Premier League.
Their performance has also taken a deep dive in Europe, with just two draws in their first two games in the Europa League.
However, Ten Hag will be hoping his team builds on their recent comeback against Brentford when they face Mourinho’s side Fenerbahce.

Ten Hag has agreed that neither team will be evaluated based on their prior performance, even if Mourinho guided United to victory in the same competition during his tenure at Old Trafford.
According to BeanymanSports, Ten Hag said, “Mourinho and I won a lot of trophies in the last years but you have to prove yourself every year and if you don’t you have criticism, we know that.
“When you don’t win games the criticism is coming. We [United] are on the right path and are convinced we will achieve what our targets are.”
“United won domestic cups after [Mourinho] left but not in Europe. We have two points and we know what we have to do – we have to win games.”
On Thursday, United will play Fenerbahce in the Europa League, where they will reunite with former boss José Mourinho after losing their opening two games.
Since the Dutchman's debut season as manager, when they lost in the Europa League quarterfinals, Ten Hag's team has given up 17 goals in their last five away games in European play.
