Jose Mourinho's new club Fenernahce are reportedly looking to add another Nigerian player to their ranks.

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are in the market for a new striker after losing ex-Chelsea star Michy Batshuayi to Galatasaray, and they are reportedly keeping a keen eye on Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi as an ideal option for their striker needs.

Fenerbahce eye Moffi

According to a report from Turkish publication Krampon Sports, Fenerbahce have Moffi on their list as they look to recruit resources for new manager Jose Mourinho.

Moffi, 25, is currently on the books of OGC Nice, a Ligue 1 side he joined permanently in the summer of 2023 from Lorient after an initial six-month loan. The Nigerian striker has had a commendable first-and-half season for Le Gym, but could be on his way out.

Fenerbahce missed out on the Turkish Super Lig title by three points to rivals Galatasaray, despite losing a mere game and amassing 99 points.

They went on to sack Ismail Kartal as coach, replacing him with the charismatic Jose Mourinho. After losing the title, they also recently lost forward Miichy Batshuayi to the Cim-bom and are now in the market for a striker.

Moffi for Nice

The 25-year-old striker played the 2022/23 season for both Lorient and Nice. With an impressive tally of 12 goals in 18 games for Lorient, Nice decided to snap him up in the winter transfer window of that season.

They signed him on an initial loan, and he scored nine goals in 20 games for Nice. In his first full season, the 2023/24 campaign, he scored 11 goals in 30 matches.
