Man United coach Ruben Amorim is living under no illusions ahead of his trip to in-form Everton and their new boss David Moyes.

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim is preparing his team for a challenging trip to Goodison Park on Saturday, where they will face a resurgent Everton side under the management of former Red Devils boss David Moyes.

Since taking over in November, Amorim has struggled to find consistency, securing only four wins from 14 league matches.

In contrast, former United boss Moyes has revitalised Everton since replacing Sean Dyche in mid-January, earning 13 points from a possible 18.

Amorim praised Moyes' impact at Everton during his pre-match press conference.

"Confidence," he noted according to a video by Premier League on their website.

"The way they play, they believe it a lot. They are winning games; they are being competitive. So it's an amazing job by David Moyes to recover the team."

He further acknowledged that the simple thing is that ‘Moyes is doing a better job than me.’

"The pressure is not the same," Amorim added when discussing why Everton has experienced success while United continues to struggle.

He emphasised that small victories can build momentum and confidence among players: "Small things like winning one game, winning two games—that belief, the pressure is not the same."

Manchester United will be boosted by the return of Christian Eriksen, Manuel Ugarte, and Leny Yoro for this crucial match against an Everton side that has shown significant improvement under Moyes' leadership.
