The Murang’a-based side scored five minutes from time to secure a second consecutive 1-0 victory after downing highly-fancied Kakamega Homeboyz.
Murang’a Seal made it two wins from as many Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) matches following a 1-0 victory over Kakamega Homeboyz in Murang’a on Saturday.
The home side needed another late goal to silence their hosts when Titus Kapchanga nodded home five minutes from time to grab maximum points.
Homeboyz threatened first when Eston Eiye’s free header drew a fingertip save from Murang’a goalkeeper Bonphas Munyasa following a good cross from Brian Wekesa.
Murang’a had their first attack on the quarter-hour mark when Rashid Moyo found himself through on goal but a quick reaction by Brian Eshihanda came to the visitors’ rescue.

CAF Confederation Cup: The tactical flaw that cost Kakamega Homeboyz in 4-1 drubbing by Al Hilal
Homeboyz could not handle Al Hilal’s wing pay, which contributed enormously to their heavy 4-1 drubbing in the second leg of their debut CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round appearance.
A good combinational play by Faruk Musisi and Ambrose Sifuna then saw the latter put Davis Kasirye through on goal but a quick reaction by the hosts’ defence denied him from close range.
At this point, it was Patrick Odhiambo’s men on the ascendancy and they should have gone ahead five minutes to the break when Musisi found the side netting before Kasirye hit the woodwork on the stroke of halftime.

FKFPL Tusker drop points as Kariobangi Sharks frustrate them to draw
The Brewers created a flurry of chances but could not make them count as they were held to a draw by Kariobangi Sharks in Ruaraka.
The two teams went into the break tied goalless but Homeboyz should have broken the deadlock 10 minutes after the resumption when Sifuna failed to tap in from close range as Munyasa denied him.
Murang’a then introduced last weekend’s game winner Batts Awita for Naaman Balecho in an attempt to add some bite to the attack after being subdued for most of the encounter.

FOOTBALL ‘I have been under pressure all my life’- AFC Leopards coach unfazed after KCB defeat
Ingwe fans did not take kindly their team's loss to KCB on Friday but their coach is not pressing the panic button
However, it was still Homeboyz who threatened with Alex Imbusia cutting in from the right before firing a long-rage shot that went just inches wide.
But just like last week against Shabana FC, Murang’a saved the best for last, first firing a warning 10 minutes from time when James Ssetuba was forced into a quick clearance, but there was no denying the home side five minutes later.
