Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has reportedly suffered yet another injury in training that is expected to keep him out of action for a while.
Wilfred Ndidi will reportedly miss weeks of action for Leicester City after suffering yet another injury in what has been a turbulent season so far.
The Super Eagles midfielder is reported to be out with a muscle strain which happened in training according to Leicester City correspondent, Owynn Palmer-Atkin.
Ndidi was not included in the matchday squad as the Foxes were held to a 2-2 draw by Brighton & Hove Albion at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
Ndidi out inured again
The report of Ndidi's injury came after Leicester City's draw against Brighton on Saturday although still pending official confirmation from the club and player.
“Brendan Rodgers tells me that Wilfred Ndidi has suffered a muscle strain in training and will be out for a couple of weeks,” Owynn Palmer-Atkins wrote on his Twitter handle.
The 26-year-old has a reputation for being injury prone and has already missed a month of action earlier this season due to injuries.
The Nigerian has still managed 17 games for the Foxes this season but has struggled to perform at his best and has been dropped on a few occasions by manager Brendan Rodgers.
Ndidi has played 224 games for Leicester City since joining in 2017 and has scored 11 goals also recording 13 assists.
