Simba wa Nairobi eased their relegation woes with the massive victory.
Nairobi City Stars head coach Nicholas Muyoti believes his side can still do better after their 5-2 win over relegation-battling rivals, Vihiga Bullets.
Speaking after the game, Muyoti said they still needed to do better in some aspects of the game if they are to stand a chance of surviving the relegation drop.

Muyoti is unhappy with the rate at which his side lost concentration in critical moments of the game.
“I am very happy with the win and the way we took our chances today,“ he said, “However, I believe we can still do better defensively by avoiding giving unnecessary chances away.
“We had to get this win so that we can climb further up the table and leave our rivals down. It is definitely a morale booster for our side moving forward.”
The former Kenyan international, however, has heaped praise on the performances of his young players, such as Rodgers Etemesi, who managed to score a brace on Sunday.

“The young players who were struggling to get the goals in the first leg are now managing to get them. Etemesi managed to score a brace and as a coach, it gives me hope for the future considering he came from the lower division.”
The tactician has also added that Simba wa Nairobi have no room to feel sorry for themselves ahead of their remaining fixtures.
“If there is one thing about me, I am not a quitter. Even when my side are losing by four goals, I insist that I have to keep pushing my players forwards until the last minute.

A couple of culprits were recently arrested for allegedly trying to alter the outcome of a game involving Nairobi City Stars and Sofapaka FC last month. Ulinzi Stars’ head coach, Boniface Mwalala insists that everyone involved in football needs to earn the right to earn greener fortunes by working for it, rather than taking the shortcut route to earn a few bob.
“I want my players to have that attitude. They musn’t give up until the very last whistle!”
The win over Vihiga Bullets means City Stars now lie in 15th place in the league standings, one point above the relegation places albeit having played a game more than 16th place Mathare United.
