The highly-anticipated derby will be played on Tuesday at the Mbale Municipal Stadium from 4 pm.

Mwebaze has relished the chance at his new home and believes the team is ready for action despite being in charge for about a month.

“We’ve had intense preparations since I came here about a month ago, so we are ready for the game. I had to learn the players that I found and added a few more, but we shall keep readjusting as we go on,” Mwebaze said ahead of the fierce derby.

The coach is known for free-flowing football and has promised more of the same but with all emphasis on winning the game.

“The fans should expect an exciting game but, most importantly, win the game because it’s a derby that we need to bag the bragging rights,” the coach said.
