FOOTBALL WATCH: Lionel Messi’s personal bodyguard, a former Navy Seal, who follows him everywhere
Yassine Chueko is the former US soldier personally selected by David Beckham to follow the Argentina star everywhere as his bodyguard at Inter Miami.
This strategic move is anticipated to yield significant financial benefits for football clubs, stemming from lucrative broadcast partnerships and coveted title sponsorships.
Namwamba reiterated this commitment during his recent address within the parliamentary session, where he responded to queries posed by Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie regarding Tanzanian broadcaster Azam TV securing the rights to broadcast the local league.
“Allow me not to go into those details because it has not been officially made public and there are a number of partners involved but I can confirm to this House that KBC is right at the heart of this programme and we believe that KBC must be afforded its opportunity to build its capacity to become a serious broadcaster,” Ababu said.
“We are slowly assisting KBC to build its muscle because it is going to be part of a package that includes two major things. One, a sponsorship package that will see money going straight to clubs and two, a live broadcast package. Very soon the details will be made public,” he added.
