‘My father forced me’- Haaland exposes his dad

Erling Haaland has exposed his dad who he claimed force him to do some things during his off-season.

The Man City star earned a well-earned vacation after leading City to a record-fourth Premier League title.

The striker has been out all summer due to Norway’s failure to qualify for the Euro 2024 tournament in Germany.

However, with the new season starting in a few weeks, Haaland has started putting in the work with his dad to improve his strength.

Haaland's father, Alf-Inge, a former defender for Leeds United and City, has been teaching him some traditional training.

The Norwegian has been building strength by going into the forest and chopping wood with his dad.

In a video posted to his and City's X and Instagram pages, Haaland described his vintage training techniques.

In the video, the guy with the camera said, "Cutting woods in the mountains is the most Erling Haaland thing I've heard."

The Manchester City striker then responded to the camera guy, "My father forced me, I didn't have a choice."

Haaland also found a way to counterbalance the harshness of his off-season strength and conditioning training with the serenity and calm of his riverside meditations.

At the beginning of the new season, City will be expecting that his unconventional training methods will have him performing at peak efficiency.

The Norwegian scored 38 goals and provided six assists in 45 games played the previous season.
