The Reds superstar’s latest remarks have cast doubts on his Anfield future.
Mohamed Salah has confirmed that he expects to leave Liverpool on a free transfer at the end of the season.
The Egyptian forward, arguably the best player in the world on current form, has revealed that contract negotiations with the club have stalled, with no progress made in recent months.
Despite being instrumental in Liverpool's impressive start to the season, Salah is now free to discuss pre-contract terms with foreign clubs.
A move to the Saudi Pro League has been mooted, while European giants Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are also reportedly monitoring his situation.

What Salah said
Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, the 32-year-old insists that he remains focused on helping Liverpool achieve success this season.
"So far, yes. It's the last six months. There is no progress there,” Salah told Sky Sports. “We are far away from any progress. So, we just need to wait and see."
Regardless, the forward has prioritised winning the Premier League title, a feat he believes would be a fitting way to end his time at Anfield.
"The first thing that was on the list was to win the Premier League with Liverpool," he said. "In my interviews over the last seven or eight years, I always say [I want to win the] Champions League. But this is the first time I'm saying I really want to win the Premier League with Liverpool.
"It's probably because we didn't celebrate the one we won in the way we wanted and also, coming back here too, it's my last year in the club so you want to do something special for the city.
"We waited for that title for 30 years or so. So, to win it and it was the pandemic at that time, we didn't really have time to celebrate it in the right way. It's not a nice thing to do, so hopefully we can do it this year."
