It was a quiet weekend for Naija Stars Abroad led by Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen.

It was a quiet weekend across Europe and the world for Naija Stars Abroad, but for a few Super Eagles stars led by Victor Osimhen and Alex Iwobi

Osimhen was the centre of attention as has become the norm at Rams Park where Galatasaray dropped two points after a thrilling four-goal draw against Eyupspor.

Nigeria’s Osimhen as reported by Pulse Sports Nigeria delivered a playmaking masterclass, picking up an assist for one of Galatasaray’s goals - his third assist of the season for the Lions.

However, the 25-year-old was denied a chance to get on the score sheet himself by the woodwork and the referee, who overlooked what was a clear foul in the box on the on-loan Napoli star.

Another Super Eagles star who picked up an assist in the Turkish Super Lig is the versatile Ibrahim Olawoyin of Rizespor.

Olawoyin also put on a playmaking show for his club from his defensive midfield role and was rewarded with an assist for one of the goals in their 3-0 win against Kayserispor.

Elsewhere, Maduka Okoye was helpless as Udinese suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to 10-man Genoa while Samuel Chukwueze continued his bench role at AC Milan with a 15-minute game time in their big win at home.

Lazio shipped three goals with Nigeria’s Fisayo Dele-Bashiru subbed off after 45 minutes against Parma.

In the absence of Victor Boniface, Nathan Tella featured as Leverkusen registered another important win, this time at Union Berlin.

Toluwase Arokodare, the former Naija Stars Abroad Baller of the Week, is knocking on the doors of the Super Eagles after his latest goal display for Genk.

Tolu Arokodare is looking unstoppable for Genk at the moment.

Ignored by the Super Eagles, the 23-year-old giant forward scored goal number 10 to help Genk share the spoils with their hosts.

Meanwhile, in the Premier League, it was Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey who had a good weekend despite their draw against Tottenham.

While the playmaker Iwobi created and assisted Fulham’s goal, Bassey ensured that Spurs were limited to just one goal with a solid defensive outing.
