Napoli have denied any knowledge about dolls in the likeness of star forward Victor Osimhen and are threatening to sue the toy's manuufacturers
Reigning Serie A champions Napoli have threatened to take legal action against makers of a doll representing their Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen as a “Cicciobello bomber” translated as “handsome bomber.”

Napoli have been in hot water in recent weeks over their treatment of Osimhen, with the club forced to issue a public statement after a TikTok was posted on the Partenopei’s official account, depicting the forward in a less than flattering light.

Osimhen: Napoli president breaks silence, says 'no problem' with Super Eagles striker
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has opened up on the recent situation surrounding star striker Victor Osimhen.
As such, Napoli have been keen to distance themselves from any form of derision towards Osimhen and have denied any participation in circulating a doll of the Nigerian forward donned in the club’s colours with the inscription “bomber” on the front.
The Partenopei have announced that they will take legal action against the producers of the toy, as they did not give permission for the doll in the likeness of Osimhen, wearing a Napoli kit.
Napoli release statement threatening to sue toy makers
In an official statement, the club said, “With reference to the news, which appeared on numerous online information sites, relating to the imminent placing on the market of a game for children called ‘Cicciobello Bomber’ doll that reproduces the features of the player Victor Osimhen, portrait wearing a uniform clearly referable to the game shirt of the first team of the Club – the SSCN specifies that it is an unofficial product, whose realization has not been authorized in any way by the Club.
“The Company therefore took action to protect its interests in the appropriate offices.”
Osimhen and Napoli have recently patched things up following the TikTok drama which caused the striker to delete pictures of the Partenopei from his Instagram account, as both club and player released statements alluding to their commitments to each other.
