Victor Osimhen’s failed transfer move this summer has left fans angry following the way Napoli handled the deal.
The Super Eagles striker failed to complete a move away from Italy this summer after several failed negotiations.
PSG, Al Ahli and Chelsea were all in contention for the signature of the Napoli star but failed to meet the requirements.
Chelsea were close to sealing a loan deal for the 2023 African Best Player, but Osimhen rejected their pay cut weekly wages presented to him.

Victor Osimhen: Napoli star face punishment after attempting to force move away from club
Victor Osimhen will likely face punishment from his team after he attempted to force a move away from Napoli.
Fans slam Napoli
A lot of fans have reacted to the Osimhen failed transfer and how Napoli have treated the player since the window closed.
Osimhen has been reportedly frozen out of the squad and he is expected not to feature in any Napoli game this season.
The striker was also excluded from Napoli’s Serie A squad list for the season, which means he won’t play any games until the next registration process.
The 25-year-old is not part of Antonio Conte’s plan this season and he has been replaced in the team by Romelu Lukaku, who was signed from Chelsea.
This news has led to many fans claiming that Napoli have disrespected Osimhen and the continent of Africa.
One fan said, “Osimhen is better than Lukaku, no doubt. Conte disrespects important players; it's the same way he treated Costa as Chelsea's boss.”
Another one said, “Napoli disrespects Africa. This is nothing but systemic racism from Napoli. Africans need to teach Napoli a bitter lesson! They don't value what we cherish.”
One fan commented, “I believe it's not just about receiving salary. Is Napoli trying to say that Victor is less Victor than before??? Africans, let's think!!!”
Osimhen will be hoping for a better offer to leave Napoli in January after failing to seal a transfer move this summer.
