Napoli reportedly warn Paris Saint-Germain to desist from pursing their star forward, as they have no interest in letting him go.

Napoli have reportedly fired a warning at Paris Saint-Germain over their pursuit of last season's Serie A MVP Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The Parisians are gearing up for the exit of Kylian Mbappe this summer, and are said to have identified Kvaratskhelia as a replacement. However, Napoli are unwilling to part with their Georgian magician and have now told PSG to back off.

According to the Italian publication Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Partenopei are insistent on keeping Kvaratskhelia next season and, hence, unwilling to listen to offers.

The report stated that the club warned the Paris-based club to steer clear of their prized asset.

Kvaratskhelia joined the club from Dinamo Batumi in the summer of 2022, and alongside Super Eagles’ Victor Osimhen, led Napoli to a historic Scudetto title last season.

Despite only recently signing an improved contract that is set to expire in 2027, Napoli are reportedly interested in giving him a further bump to ward off interest.

PSG are also casing Kvaratskhelia’s partner in crime, Victor Osimhen, and should find it easier to acquire him, as Napoli have resigned their fate of losing the Nigerian striker this summer, given the release clause in his contract and his well-reported interest in testing new waters after conquering Italy.
