Newly promoted Uganda Premier League side NEC FC have confirmed the swoop of Luweero United forward Isaac Balyejusa penning a two-year contract.
The striker spent the past season in the FUFA Big League with Luweero as he netted an impressive 14 goals despite the team's struggles across the season.
He achieved the feat in just 25 league appearances, a clear indication this prolificness with the goal in sight.
"We believe that his relentless desire to win, be it in competitive contests or training sessions, will elevate our club to new heights," a club statement said.
"We look forward to witnessing his breathtaking performances on the pitch and witness history being made."
Besides Luweero where he featured for two separate stints, Balyejusa has also played for Kajjansi United in the Buganda Regional League.
The 24 year-old joins two new signings at the Bugolobi based club, including Sharif Lubega and Ronald Ogenga.
